I grew up in a world where dog care wasn’t casual, it was structured, professional, and held to a high standard.
My mom bred German Shepherds, competed in AKC obedience, trained dogs, and ran a kennel. From a young age, I saw what it actually takes to care for dogs properly; not just loving them, but understanding them, managing them, and showing up consistently.
By 15, I had worked in my mom's kennel and was working in veterinary offices. I’ve worked in animal shelters, and over the years, I’ve fostered more than 50 dogs with medical or behavioral concerns.
This isn’t something I fell into as a side-hustle. It’s something I’ve been immersed in my entire life.
And it shaped how this company operates.
One of the biggest problems in the dog walking industry is that most services are built around individuals.
A single walker. A single schedule. A single point of failure.
If that person gets sick, has a conflict, or simply burns out, everything falls apart.
That’s where the stress comes from.
Top Dog Walk is structured differently.
We are an employee-based dog walking and pet sitting company serving Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and Chesapeake. Our walkers are trained, vetted employees; not independent contractors juggling multiple apps and schedules.
Every client is supported by a small, consistent team—not just one person—along with internal scheduling systems and management oversight.
So if your regular walker is unavailable, coverage is handled automatically.

Owner
Beau Bibeau
Beau is the owner of Top Dog Walk. He grew up immersed in professional dog care—his mother bred and trained German Shepherds for AKC obedience, shaping his early understanding of structure, consistency, and high standards in animal care. He’s worked in veterinary offices, animal shelters, and has fostered over 50 dogs, bringing both hands-on experience and a deep, lifelong connection to the work. Outside of Top Dog Walk, Beau is a dad, an equestrian, and spends most of his free time with his own dogs—Quinn, Finley, and Ice Cream.
Operations Manager
Kristy
Kristy is our incredible Operations Manager Extraordinaire and keeps pet care schedules running smoothly every day. She manages our team and provides exceptional client support. She's here to make your life easier as a client. Kristy worked her way up from the ranks as a dog walker, then Team Lead, and we are so incredibly happy to have her in this role. When Kristy doesn't have dogs on the brain, she loves travel and coffee! (Updated photo coming soon!)

Brittany has been working with our team for several years in various capacities. She currently provides administrative support to our Operations Manager. She's previously a vet tech and dog trainer, always kind hearted, and simply the best! You will smile every time you talk to her. Dog mom to Clover and Mo.
Team Lead
Bailey
Bailey is a Team Lead with Top Dog Walk. She is highly organized, detail oriented, and cares deeply about giving each pet the specific care they need. She excels working with more complicated or nervous pets. She's creative with a love for painting or crocheting. What she loves most about working with dogs is learning the distinct personalities of each dog, all their special quirks! Her favorite breeds are Golden Retrievers and Daschunds - she says they are polar opposite when it comes to their behavior, but absolutely loves both of their personalities!
Pet Sitter
Nesia
Nesia is a pet sitter with Top Dog Walk with a strong background in pet care and team management. She works in a vet hospital in addition to pet sitting with us. She previously worked as a manager at a dog walking company in Florida, where she gained experience supporting walkers, coordinating schedules, and maintaining high services standards. Nesia brings calm presence and compassionate care to our work every day.

Hi! I'm Laura! I joined TDW in 2023. One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to see all the different personalities of the dogs I meet and building a bond with each one. In my free time, I enjoy drawing and fish keeping. I have a special soft spot for Shih Tzus. Growing up, my cousins had a Shih Tzu who was super cute and friendly, and I’ve loved them ever since!

Hi! I’m Riley and I’ve been with Top Dog since 2024. I love working with dogs because there’s always something new to experience with the dogs. My favorite breed is either a Great Dane or a German Shepherd! A fun fact about me is that I graduated high school early!
